A Fresh Approach

Creative lightbulb idea by kROMKRATHOGWhere has the first half of January 2015 disappeared to? Sometimes it feels like only yesterday that preparations were being made for Christmas! Now the new year is getting into its swing and with it comes busy times at Remote Associates HQ.

It’s strange what the beginning of a New Year does for some people. For many it’s a time where the months of November and December have been a little sluggish. We may have let ourselves indulge or taken our foot off the accelerator, gearing ourselves up for our seasonal break where we take time off to be with family and friends. For small businesses and individuals it’s a time where we feel it’s acceptable to not switch on the computer everyday to check our emails and to turn off our mobile phones (or at least not have them glued to the palm of our hand or our work space.

A vibe of a fresh approach surrounds us.

We feel motivated and raring to go, ready to take on new challenges, develop ideas and grow our enterprise. It really is a great feeling, but unfortunately it’s not uncommon for that feeling to fade. So what can we do to keep that fresh approach alive?

  • Regularly review what we set out to achieve.
  • Surround ourselves with positivity. Quotes, affirmations and images. Anything that will help us draw on that vibe we felt at the beginning of the year.
  • Don’t get disheartened. If you feel that lull, don’t let it drag you down. The best thing to do is accept you have bad days, it’s not the end of the world and tomorrow will be a fresh approach to what lies ahead.

There are many things you can do to help keep yourself moving forward and we would love to hear your tips and tricks that assist you when you feel the enthusiasm is draining.

Remember, help is always at hand and you don’t have to achieve your goals flying solo. If a Virtual Assistant can help keep you on track, then Remote Associates are here and ready to help you in flight.
