It’s not an Interview it’s a Consultation.

Do you ensure that you understand their requirements and give them the opportunity to get to know a little bit of your personality?

In last weeks blog post, we talked about making a great first impression. By having a free client consultation, there is no better way of demonstrating  your professionalism, dedication and innovative ideas and suggestions.

Remote Associates pride ourselves on the rapport we build with our potential to existing client via this initial consultation.  We want to take time to get to know our clients needs, their likes and dislikes and also leave them feeling at the end of the call or meeting that they are onto the next level.

For the perfect consultation you should:-

  • Have a list of set questions to ask the client. The call or meeting should be conducted in a way that is informal but well constructed. Always making sure you answer questions too and not just be the one to ask them. It’s not an interview, it’s a consultation.
  • Ideally a face to face consultation is always best, but due to location or a busy schedule this may sometimes not be possible.
  • Both parties should leave the consultation with clear objectives.
  • Both parties should feel at ease to be the professional self they are happy to be.

There are many ways that you can put your own unique spin on your client consultation. You want to be remembered and of course you want to obtain a business relationship.
